Thursday Thirteen . . 13 Random Thoughts

For this week’s Thursday Thirteen, I am listing 13 random thoughts that ran through my head at some point today:

1. What’s with all these mascara commercials?  Does anyone really want their eyelashes to look like tarantulas?  If so, I’d love to meet them or maybe not.  They probably work somewhere that has a pole!
2. All right, just wear your favourite plaid green shorts even if they don’t match.  I need you to stop fussing so I can jump on this conference call.
3. Would you look at those storm clouds?  Pity the kids went to school on their bikes today — they are going to get very wet!  Crap, I will probably have to pick them . . .  and their bikes up. 
4. Gosh I’m driving like I’m driving Miss Daisy!  It’s the rain you know!
5. She looks amazing!  {Had lunch today with a university friend I had not seen in a couple of years — thanks Facebook.}
6. Why won’t he just sit still {this is in Starbucks after} — I am going to end up paying for a mug, carafe or something that he knocks over.
7. I must remember to take that Now 71 CD in the car with me so I have something decent to listen to.
8. When are we trading this mommy vehicle in on a sedan?  I think I would look so much more stylish in a sedan.  A black one.  No, a charcoal one.  No, how about a navy one?
9. Did he send my camera away to the Nikon people?  Let’s call and see.
10. What am I making for dinner?  I need to vacuum.  And, clean the bathrooms.  And, do the laundry.  And, weed the garden.  And, and, and . . .  Why do I have to do everything?
11. Oooooooooooooh!  {Excited by potential new software for my job!}
12. Bless.  Thanks goodness they didn’t get too wet. {Boys biked home in the drizzle.}
13. Oh, I can’t wait for tomorrow.  I need some mummy time.  Dropping the wee one off with mum, then heading to a luncheon meeting , then an evening at the local wine bar with some dear friends.  What will we talk about?  And, what will I wear?
