For this week’s theme of advertisement, I chose a photo of my boys in their soccer/footie gear just like tnchick did! Local businesses sponsor the teams and get to advertise on the uniforms.
What gets to me are all the times grown ups wear T-shirt with ads that they paid for. I think maybe that’s why I never really thought of team sponsor ad on uniform T-shirts the way I think of ads in general.
The name on the jerseys is fine but if they put more logos and wording on, it can detract from the teams look. Good luck with their games! My hunt is up here.
Oh no, I am truly obsessed! I saw that photo and my first thought was “Goody – I see stuff for recycling!”
“Huh?” you say?
I am the coordinator for the Terracycle upcycling program at my kids’ school – we collect (and hopefully will get paid for!) juice pouches, Nabisco wrappers, Frito-Lay bags, Mars candy wrappers, and any brand of cereal bar wrapper. DD and I are thinking of making posters for the lunchrooms to remind the kids not to throw all that stuff away – and it just occurred to me that it will look a lot like advertising! In the long run it is – companies (like Mars, Capri Sun, and Frito-Lay) are paying Terracycle to turn their product wrappers into things like bags that will then serve as advertising.

Cool picture! You have some handsome sons
Cute shot! Your youngest and your oldest could be twins. Well, except for the slight age gap but they look so much alike!
Very handsome boys!
Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday!
Cute picture! I love the uniforms.
