Wordless/Wordful Wednesday . . .

26 Aug

For this week’s WW, I’ve chosen these fun photographs of a typical laundry day in our house!  Our laundry room is downstairs and we have the laundry hampers upstairs . . . really smart, right?

Anyway, about once a week I ask the boys to throw it all down the laundry chute aka the upstairs railing!

The hubby keep threatening to revisit the world of DIY by installing one himself, but I keep resisting . . . boys and laundry chutes?  Hmmmmmm . . . I don’t think they mix!

Blatant abuse of gravity is a great way to get the male of the species excited about Laundry Day!!!

    Blessings!

Oh, I’d rather have the insanity of DIY on the chute than throwing the clothes down – read my post on this! Funny that you’re posting about something so similar in a very different light!

What great shots. Love the angles, love the fun of throwing things down the stairs without getting into trouble !!! I get a feeling that this is one of the childhood memories your children will talk about in 20 years. Happy WW!

Well that is certainly an interesting way to get your family involved with doing the laundry. If only you could get them downstairs to load, wash, and hang the laundy.

Looks like fun! It’s not very often kids are encouraged to throw dirty clothes around :)

We do the same thing! (Except add in cats running off with the clothes.) I would never trust my hubby with a DIY project-yikes!

I love it! Bet the boys enjoy tossing laundry over the railing…makes laundry sort of a fun game (for them), doesn’t it? ;)

    Happy WW! :)
