Random Tuesday Thoughts . . . I’m an auntie again

Here goes my random crap . . .

  • So, what do ya think of good old Mother Nature stirring up Hurricane Ida?  The boys were hoping for a day off school today, but I told them to be careful what they wish for.  A day off school today would mean less time off over Thanksgiving.  They soon stopped that nonsense.
  • I’m an auntie again.
  • I thought the wind that Ida brought would be fab kite-flying weather, but alas . . .  the hubby nixed that idea by telling me it was too windy.  Too windy.  Huh?  And, then I caught him watching Man Utd. vs. Chelsea  followed by Tampa vs Green Bay games.  Hmmmmm.
  • My oldest son will be going to high school next year so there are big decisions to be made around here.  IB vs. AP vs. GCSEs and A levels vs. a technical high school diploma?  Thoughts anyone?
  • The big guy had his first official game of soccer this past weekend – they lost, but no worries.  I’m sure they will do fine and were just warming up for the season!
  • I’m an auntie again.
  • My middle son’s  face has all but cleared up and his teeth have stopped hurting making him very happy as he can now bite in to sandwiches and other delectable delights!
  • Autumnal goodness.  Say it.  Doesn’t it kinda sound a little pervy?  Or is that just me?  Autumnal goodness.
  • My littlest one has suddenly come out with the most amazing manners – it has to be from me always going on at the other two.  He says “oh thank you mummy” to everything I give him and never forgets to say “please.”  Today I told him that  his friend was coming over for a playgroup and he said “oh that’s wonderful mummy!”  So precious!  Still having an issue with the naturalist in him though!
  • Did you know that I’m an auntie again?  Woohoo!  Hubby’s sister’s partner gave birth to twins — a boy and a girl — on Sunday.  I wish I was over there so I could nip down to London and hold those sweet babies help them out.  I know how hard those first few days are with one baby let alone two.  We’re still waiting on photos though . . .

Well, if you have any random crap, feel free to head on over the The Un Mom and link it up.  Happy Tuesday.  Peace out!

Congrats on being an auntie, again. Lovely random thoughts — all of them are good news. Except Ida, but kite flying sounded lovely.

You have a school near you that offers GCSEs and A levels? What are his long-term plans – uni. in the US or the UK? Is technical school like a vocational school? I’ve heard good things about IB.

Shame the new niece and nephew are so far away!

Congratulations on being an Auntie again! Twins, yikes! My youngest usually has very good manners and he’s so adorable. I’m just enjoying every last second of it before he morphs into a surly teenager.

So I hear you’re an auntie again, times 2…Congrats! ;) Twins?! I had a hard enough time with a single newborn, let alone twice as many.

Hurricanes in November. Crazy, I know.
