As 2010 comes to an end, I thought for this week’s Musical Monday I would compile a list of my top ten … 16 favourite songs that were in the charts this year … I’m stopping now though coz otherwise I’d be here all day listing more. Suffice it to say, there were lots of fab songs this year … some actually weren’t new in 2010, but remained in the charts for part of the year so that’s why I’m counting them. And, ya … they’re in no particular order.
Enjoy.
1. “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars
2. “Don’t Stop Believin’” by the cast of Glee
3. “This Ain’t a Love Song” by Scouting for Girls
4. “Bad Romance” by Lady Ga Ga
5. “Love the Way You Lie” by Eminem featuring Rihanna
6. “Teenage Dream” by Katy Perry
7. “Meet Me Halfway” by Black Eyed Peas
8. “Need You Now” by Lady Antebellum
9. “Secrets” by One Republic
10. “Soul Sister” by Train
11. “Haven’t Met You Yet” by Michael Buble
12. “Airplanes” by B.O.B. featuring Hayley Williams
13. “Tik Tok” by Kesha
14. “Young Forever” by Jay-Z

There are a lot of different kinds of music there. I like about 1/2 of them but I’m really not a pop music kind of girl. I like some country music, but I’m a old time rock and roller from way back.
Thanks for chosing these and for playing along with us each week.
I really look forward to your choices for next week and all of next year. Wishing you a wonderful 2011 full of health, happiness and love.
I was with you right up to the Black Eyed Peas where we
