Friday Food Fight … happy royal wedding day

After a noticeable absence, I’m baaaaack with a Friday Food Fight post.  You can’t really blame me for not participating of late because … Jeez … if you look  at all the other Friday food flingers, my entries or entrees just pale in comparison.  I mean, how can I compete with such great foodies?

Anyway, this one’s in honor of the royal wedding … thanks to the lovely people at Kellog’s, the boys and I made a rice crispy treat cake in the shape of Prince William and his bride.

Erm, yeah … it started out really well with my oldest son carefully drawing an outline of them, however, it all turned a bit crap when the other two started to help.  Oh well, it tasted really great and we had fun.

That looks like a lot of fun. my boys got up and ready for school and saw the bride go into the church, but then off to the bus. My oldest got to hear the ceremony of the marriage but not the readings before his bus came.

Welcome back into the ring! Good to have you back! :-)

Well, I think it looks just like Kate and William. How did you match her dress perfectly? Who are you connected with to get it on that well kept secret? ;-)

My sister made egg shaped ones for the girls for Easter using an jumbo shaped plastic egg. They were so cute!

We love Rice Krispie Treats too. They are such messy fun! Allana and my sister are quite fond of Fruity Pebble Krispies. Gross. :-P

As long as you guys had fun and it tasted good, who cares if it looked “exactly” like them. What a funny project to take on, happy belated royal wedding day.
