So, when I saw this week’s theme for the Gallery, I peered out at the back garden of this house I’m renting and groaned to myself, no blooming way am I taking part because my backyard is just awful.
Awful, I tell you.
You see, I’m in a sort of stalemate with the arsehole landlords who were supposed to have a gardener come and clear it all before I moved in. Five months later and I am still waiting, but that’s another blog post.
Anyway, whilst I was on a walk along the seafront the other morning, I decided it was more so my backyard than the scuzzy garden I’m dealing with right now. I ended up snapping this photo and thought it perfect for the theme … so, hey y’all … welcome to my backyard.

Oh it’s lovely. I grew up by the sea & really miss it now. As for your landlords… grrr that makes me so angry. We rent houses out & always try to go the extra mile for our tenants but there are so many landlords out there who just don’t give a toss and give us all a bad name lol! PS – tell them you’re only paying half month’s rent until they get the garden sorted out. Honestly!

As for your awful garden, you should take a photo of it anyway and do a before & after photo series when your landlords get around to fixing it up. Better yet, host a beautification BBQ and invite all your friends over to fix it up and bill your landlords for it. You know me, I’m all about the parties, but I ain’t much of a gardener.
