For this week’s Musical Monday, I’ve chosen a fab remix of Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Bleurgh aka Lana Del Rey.
I know her sound is a bit dark and slow and moody, but I really like it. And, there’s no denying she has an amazing voice. Anyway, this mix doesn’t make me sad at all like the title suggests … it me get all excited about the upcoming summer and all that it will bring like lazy days spent lounging at the beach and the pool.

Thank goodness for remixes! I am not a fan of Lana Del Ray. She’s way too over-the-top depressing for my taste. She makes Adele seem cheery. Ha! Anyway, the dance beat makes her voice and song tolerable. Did you see Kristen Wiig impersonation of Lana del Ray on SNL? So funny!
