This past weekend my baby … my youngest one… my wee wane … my littlest man … went and growed up on me.
*sobs*
Because he officially graduated … from preschool.
It was a really lovely ceremony that made me cry and laugh and then cry some more. And, he was sooooooo cute and took it all so seriously, hence his award of “most mature student.” Although,I did kinda wonder about that title when it was announced he wanted to marry his mum, have five children.
*coughs*
He redeemed himself when it was followed up with the fact that he wants to become a police officer when he does grow up.
Anyway, for today’s Musical Monday I’ve chosen this song called “Tree Hugger” by Antsy Pants and Kimya Dawson which reminds me how wee he is. And, that I just need to enjoy this time with him over the summer before he goes off to kindergarten. Now, excuse me while I go get some tissues to dab my eyes some more.
