What I did today was very, very sponge worthy.

*cough, cough*

Actually, what I mean to say is that it was very bucket list worthy.

I got to see a live taping of the Daily Show.  That’s right y’all.  Tonight, I saw the best fucking news team AND Jon Stewart with my sister and sis-in-law.

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

It’s all thanks to my lovely sister.  When she heard they would be in Tampa while the RNC was going on, she managed to snag some tickets.

I was a haute mess by the time he actually got on stage what with baking in the sun as we waited on tickets, then baking some more as we waited to get in to the theatre and so on and so forth.

But, it was well worth it.

The show was as satirical as ever… poking fun at all that Florida has to offer… heat, hurricanes and cockroaches.  I wasn’t so happy with that guest for the night because I was really rather hoping for a politically active actor, like George Clooney or Matt Damon, but alas… we got Marco Rubio instead.

No matter, the evening was still sponge worthy, ooh er … I mean bucket list worthy and another item crossed off my ever evolving list.
